3 tips for a healthy fall in the Tri-Cities

 

Fall is one of our favorite times of the year. Sweatshirts and bonfire weather. Football starting up again, and so many other great things to do outside. Some of our favorite things in the fall is:

 

1. GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE COOLER WEATHER WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Hiking and biking are among the favorites in our area. Some local Tri-Cities spots include:
Bay City: Tobico Marsh Nature Area, Bay City Rail Trail, and the Bay City State Park
Midland: The City Forest, and the Chippewa Nature Center.
Saginaw: Saginaw Valley Rail Trail, and the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge.

One more trail that goes thru most of the tri-cities is The Great Lakes Bay Regional Trail.

 

2. ENJOY SOME OF THE HEALTHIER IN-SEASON FOODS.

There are plenty of apple orchards and pumpkin patches in the tri-cities. Apples for the family and pumpkin seeds are great snacks to enjoy. Make sure to save the donuts for a special gathering.
